Nov 22, 2023
BIC, the French manufacturer of writing equipment and mass consumer goods has removed titanium dioxide from a variety of its writing instruments and has replaced it with RAUX®, the innovative white pigment from Minéraux in the Netherlands. RAUX® not only eliminates the need for titanium dioxide, but it also reduces the CO2-footprint of the pigment by over 65% when compared to titanium dioxide.
By using RAUX® pigments, BIC has successfully demonstrated that children’s products can be made even safer and more sustainable while maintaining the characteristics that made its products world famous.
